Ivan was a very friendly host and gave us loads of information on Rome. Nice double room. Breakfast was typical italian with prepacked "dolci". B&B is close to subway station. Neighbourhood appeared to be safe.

Excellent stay, great value for money in an area in close walking distance to many sites - metro very close by. Owner very nice and knowledgeable, willing to help. Very clean. One room has nice balcony which is added bonus. Breakfast basic but tasty and fresh. Overall, excellent value for money considering how expensive even the run down hotels in rome can be. We will definately be staying there during our next trip.

This property is a little way from the tourist sites, but easily accessible via the nearby metro stop and bus stop, and the colleseum is walkable. Mr Marcantoni is very friendly and helpful. Although there is no staff on-site, he is easily reached by phone, and will meet you when you arrive. There are two rooms in the B&B, one is en-suite, the other has a private bathroom which is down the hall. We had the latter, and found it a little bit awkward sometimes. If you like your room to be cleaned daily and towels to be replaced everyday, than this is not for you. If you want cheap accommodation in a quite-ish area, a large room, a balcony and like being independent than I do recommend coming here.

We traveled all through Italy and this was, by far, the best place we stayed! It was fabulous! Iven is absolutely wonderful and has a wealth of information about the city!

First, I just would like to thank Ivan! He's a very nice guy, typical italian, very cheerful and helpful. It was an excellent stay, and we felt just like home. You are given the keys of the flat, and you can start enjoying th great Rome and come back home when you want. Thanks again Ivan for you kindness

Ivan Marcantoni was a really nice person. He was helpfull in case of any question. He suggested a lot of usefull things (restaurants, public transport connection, places worth to visit etc.), that made our stay in Rome more pleasant. The room and the breakfast were nothing special, but ok, both of them fullfilled our expectations. In fine I would suggest this accomodation to everybody, especially for young people.

We enjoyed our stay very much!!! In the same street are 3 very nice restaurants. La Mosca Matta serves a really nice menu, the guests are mainly italien.When we come back to Rome we prefer to stay at Marcantoni again.

The location is perfect, close to bus stops and metro. Getting around was very easy. The appartment has only 2 bedrooms so it is really quiet. We had the room with a balcony. For the breakfast, just simple [italian coffee, fruit juice, rusks, butter and jam]. Ivan is really a nice host.

Superb stay in Rome - facilities perfect for our needs and lovely to pop back easily whatever time of day. Excellent bus and Metro links for ease with children. Very Quiet 6th floor apartment .....with lift!! Ivan was a wonderful host ---thanks for birthday pressies for Kids!!! J, A Sam & Kim

Great at Marcantoni, a good price for being so near the centre. Safe neighbourhood and a great place to stay! Just what we needed!

Venere web intarface need some improvment. It is unpossilble to change time of the reservation. Firts you must cancel and than make the new one. It have to has a possibility to chanbe your date of chceck in/out with out any cancelations :-)
