Close to Metro Stop Garbatella on the blue line. Yellow House is within walking distance of Basilica di San Paolo, the 3th university in Rome, bars and clubs for the all the fun loving young people who choose to stay with us.

Position of the zone in the city

Nearby you will find some of Rome's most famous monuments: Basilica of S.Paolo, Pyramid, Terme di Caracalla, Tombe di s Callisto, Santa Domitilla and Cecilia Metella. And just five minutes on the Metro will take you to the Colosseum.

For your attention: the taxis are very expensive in Roma and many charge a lot money in via degli argonauti from the station to Yellow House. We racomanded that you use the public transportation that is easy and cheep.

It consists of 6 rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitchen and a terrace where our guests can spend a very nice time out of the chaos of Rome.

Please note before you book that all guests must arrive before 16.00pm as reception will only be open for check in between 8.00am and 14.00pm. We are a bed & breakfast and we are not at home all day. If you are due to arrive later than 16.00 you must contact us by telephone or e-mail after you make your booking to arrange check-in. but not after h. 23.00

Terrible location in that sense that there was discoteque directly downstairs, extremely loud discomusic was played from 2am-6am -> we couldn't sleep at all.

Rome is an exciting place to be but avoid staying here, for 5 euros a night more you can get much better accomadation. This is not in a good area the house has got grafitti on it and the smell outside is bad. It is also placed about 10 metres from the railway line so it is hard to sleep. The television only has 4 channels, the bedding wasnt changed for the 3 nights we were there and there were no towels provided. There is no mosquito netting on the window which means you either get very hot with the windows closed or get bitten by Italian mosquitos. The person who worked there spoke a reasonable amount of english but seemed to be very lazy and unhelpful. Also definately avoid this place if you are approaching it by car, you have to go through a maze of streets to get close to it and there were no proper driving instructions provided even though I asked. The breakfast was poor, you are provided with a pack of bread which taste more like buscuit and a heated electric kettle. Also some jam is provided. Just to give you both sides of the story. The house is very close to a metro station and to Ostience which is a main road that has buses going along it. Also if you are very insistent then the person looking after the place may be more accomadating and allow you to receive incoming phone calls (and dial out) and let you get some water from the tap. I stayed in several other places in Italy and this was the worse by far, I am sure there is better accomadation available in Rome. For the quality this should be cheaper

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

From Roma Termini station you need to use the metro line "B" ( the blue line) and get off at "Garbatella".

From Fiumicino airport take the train that arrives in terminal Ostiense, than ask where is the stop of metro "garbatella" ( it's 3 minutes walk) than look at the map.

From Ciampino Airport take the train to Termini..then like point 1.

If you arrive by car the best way is to write an email from where you arrive and we will answer you with directions.

you need to delete minimun 7 days before your arrive, if you delete after the 7 nights you need to pay all the days you have booked in some date hight request we can ask to pay in advance the 50% of your balance
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 7 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
