HOTEL OVERVIEW

hotel outside I MASTRAZZI is the old name for Fishermen’s Red House. Today it’s a small and welcoming Bed & Breakfast; located in front of the new Tourist Port called Etna di Riposto, a few minutes from bathing resort areas.


The strategic location is suitable for both Mountain and Sea amateurs and is within easy reach of the most enchanting places of the eastern Sicily. It is only 25 minutes from Catania and 15 from Taormina, at few miles from the magnificent view of Faraglioni di Aci Trezza, Aci Trezza‘s Stacks. It is also close to Etna Volcano and Alcantara Gorge and an hour from the archaeological site of Siracusa.

The tourist Port Etna, near I Mastrazzi B&B, offers many services such as parking car, rent a car, laundry, taxi, and possible trip to Taormina, Etna Volcano, etc.

Our rooms are equipped with Heating and Air conditioning, private bath, hairdryer, iron, fridge and TV. You have also the possibility to use the internet.

How to reach us:
•By car: take Motorway A18 Catania-Messina, exit: GIARRE;

•From Catania: Bus and Train for Giarre-Riposto station;

•From Catania Airport: take bus to Central Station, then take train to Giarre-Riposto direction/station.

The single room is a double single use, while the triple room is with a double bed and a single bed (is possible to add onother small bed for a child)for 3 person or a family of 4 people, the double is with a double bed.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
1-From Ct you will need to take the main ring road (Tangenziale) going northbound, sign posted to the A18, Taormina & Messina .
2-Follow the dual carriage way until you reach the toll booth where the road joins the A 18 autostrada. Collect a ticket and continue northbound towards Messina.
3-You will pass the exit for Acireale. You should then take the next exit signposted to Giarre. Leave the autostrada, possing through the pay toll booth.
4-Turn left on to the SS114, following signs for Giarre. Follow the SS114 until you reach Giarre you will then to take a right turn sing-posted to Riposto. Follow the road until you reach Riposto. You will then need to head for the sea front road. Once you have joined the sea front road drive until you see the large marina. Opposite the marina there is a small paved area with a number of large palm trees. Turn into the side road that runs along side this area. You will then see a red building wich is Mastrazzi. Parking is available immediately out side the B&B.

The Parking is in the touristic port "Port of Etna" in front of I Mastrazzi B&B (price car: 5 euro all day, price moto: 3.00 all day) or you can park on the street near the B&B.
Taxi service, Rent a car in the hotel, Shuttle service from and/or to the railway station, transfers by car and minibus from/to Catania Fontanarossa airport, and private excursions to the most important sites of Sicily are available on request.
The railway station and the "Circumetnea" (tour around the villages at the slopes of Etna volcano) are only 8 minutes from the hotel.
The bus stop is 10 meters far from I Mastrazzi.
