We stayed in a double room. the double bed was two single beds joined together - which is not 'that' comfortable - but nonetheless clean and spacious.
First time in Naples.
did not like external locks of the b&b it took ages to come in.. which i think can be fixed.

I would recommend this B&B. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean. breakfast was delicious. It is within walking distance of the harbour, some shops and the train station. We would surely stay there again if we go back to Naples.

Great location,especially for those of you who need to "do business" at the US Consulate, which is on the same street. I recommend this b&b because i went to hotels nearby (3 stars) which were absolutely disgusting, and all things considered, this is a good choice. Only problem is getting in touch with the owner, so you need to be clear when you are coming and give him a time range.

Our experience at the Areamare was excellent. The owner was very nice and helpfull (for example, he prepared our breakfast 1 hour earlier than the normal hours because we needed to leave early). He's english is limited. The room (double) had a private bathroom and was very spacious and clean. The location is actually really good. The area is safe (upscale part of town). The B&B is 2 minutes walk from the sea and from a train/metro station and a major bus stop.
Overall, our experience was great. €100 per night is high but probably worth it after reading some of the other reviews...
