The villa is surrounded by a large, fenced-in yard, where you will find a pizza oven, barbecue and lounge chairs for enjoying the sun. It isn't hard to be taken away by the tranquillity of such a beautiful place!

Close to the noted city of art, Siena and 60 km from Florence, the Casale assures you a relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscany.

Bed & Breakfast Il Casale Monteriggioni - Venere.com double room The apartment sleeps 4+1 and is comprised of: two single, joinable beds and living room with room to sleep up to three, fireplace, color television and stereo. The Kitchen is modern and complete with oven and stovetop. The bathroom has a shower, indipendent hot water and hair dryer.

The apartment also includes linens and towels, changed weekly and a laundryroom with ironing board and iron.

There is also a bedroom available on the second floor which sleeps two with use of the kitchen.

Our instructions said the B@B would be open at 5:00 PM After waiting for half an hour we almost left when the owner arrived. The room was very nicely decorated and clean. Our host gave us some god information of what to see and gave us literature and maps for us to locate. The breakfast was ok.

We had to leave at 05.00 am to airport, and the owners of Il Casale didn't prepare any coffee or something else for us. No refund or rebate for the breakfast we didn't get. The garden wasn't very nice, and they had no special room for the breakfast so the first day we had it outside and it was raining ! Not very impressive...

Everything was ok except that we had had a lot of difficulty to find the place at first. Room was nice and quiet. We didn't talk a lot with the owners baut theirs breakfast were excellent! Especially the fig marmelade!!!...

No staff, only 2 hosts: very friendly and helpfull. Property hard to find, partially due to wrong indications in english in "How to reach the property". Property itself not clearly indicated in advance. Due to different day schedules we did not meet other guests.

B&B owners were nice, a bit poor breakfast (nice home made cake, a couple of bread slices but nothin more). Quite and nice place, closer to Siena more than to Monteriggioni (maybe better choice). Everything was nice even Ameliè-style garder dwaries.

My wife and me spent three days on Easter holidays at Il Casale. The staff was very friendly, our room very clean and spacious and the breakfast delicious: We had each day home baked cake in the garden! Siena is 10 min by car and if you prefer a quiet place in the Toscany then I can highly recommend Il Casale.

A beautiful place, slightly off the beaten track. It took us a while to find the place since we arrived after dark but the hospitality and serenity of the place easily compensated. Breakfast is served in the garden, fruit from the garden's trees (!!) with music in the background. A couple of cold beers accompanied the keys to our room which was actually a small apartment on the entrance floor of the house. Alex and Robert were very cooperative hosts. The addition of a hair dryer would have made it even more comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay there. We had a difficult time finding the place, but once we were there it was wonderful! The owners made us feel like Queens with the welcoming of refreshments and music. The apartment was cozy and clean. Our buffet breakfast was amazing and the atmosphere relaxing and fresh! We all give this place 4 stars for a B&B!!!

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

From Florence: exit the toll-free "Raccordo" highway at Monteriggioni, turn right for Siena and proceed for 5 km. Turn right, following the signs for Pian del Lago - Santa Colomba and right again at the Pian del Lago Stables for Santa Colomba. Turn right again after 2 km for Santa Colomba.
The Casale is 1 km up on the left.


From Rome: Take the A1 north to the Sinalunga exit and take the Siena-Bettolle to Siena. Enter the "tangenziale" for Florence and get off at the Siena Nord exit. Take a right off the ramp and another at the next intersection/rotary. After approx. 3 km, turn on the left for Pian del Lago, than right for Santa Colomba and right again for Santa Colomba.
It approx. 1 km up on the left.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
