We had a great stay at the Elizabeth Hotel. We were upgraded to a two bedroom flat from a quad room at no additonal charge. This provided a living room and kitchen. This was great! We enjoyed the wonderful breakfast and WIFI access in the lobby. It is in a good location near Victoria Station. Ask for the key to the park in the square. The only negative for us was that the elevator(lift)made horrible scraping noises which were kind of scary. The hotel is a bit run down. It could use some new furnishings and paint. We would recommend using the buses in London since many go to Victoria Station. They are convenient and you see the city as opposed to the Underground.

Superb location especially for visiting Chelsea Flower Show and using Victoria Coach Station and Rail Station. Staff are welcoming and very friendly. Wonderful to be able to use the beautiful gardens of Ecclestone Square. The breakfast had excellent variety and was well prepared and served. We would certainly use the hotel again and recommend it to our friends.

I chose B&B Elizabeth because it is close to Victoria station and to the bus station to Stansted airport,i was travelling with 5 ex students,i knew the area as i lived and worked in London long ago,i go there when i have time, very often i take my friends around to visit my "2nd home in the world"!I didn't know anything about your b&b but i'm really happy,(so my students are),to have had a really pleasent staying, even if i had booked for a 4bed room and i had a room with 2single beds and a double bed!it was a problem, not so bad at the end of the nice holiday, but simly i don't like to share my bed with anybody else, unless i want to!!!Anyway breakfast was great, the staff very kind, what else? a bit too expensive for single travellers!I know i could not spend my weekends there when i travel alone,it is too much,i'm sorry!

Hi, what was surprising about the Elisabeth hotel was that the rate corresponds to the space you have. You can see on the picture that the rooms on the upper floors are smaller...But anyway, the receptists are very professional, if not very friendly, but, well, they are brit, aren't they?.Nevertheless,I should'nt say so cause I really appreciated Barbara, the kind of familylike atmosphere, really clean and warm. The Victoria district is ideal to visit London, central, cheap, colored. We have seen a little truck covered with fake grass, and flowers,so cute!...

Elizabeth had a great location and was very close to the Victoria Theaters and Victoria Station. Make sure that you are familiar with the street layouts in London before your arrival as finding the B&B can be difficult with the map that is given online. The breakfast area was cute and the staff were very friendly!

Location is excellent - clean, quiet, nice - yet very close to Victoria station so very easy coming in from Gatwick airport or getting around within the city by subway; staff were very friendly and helpful; breakfast was good;nice little park across the street to relax in when you want a break from exploring the more hectic parts of London;comfortable beds, very clean and quiet room. On the negative side, the rooms are very small (which is normal for London) but also very warm. Outside temperature was only 20 celcius yet in the room must have been 25 or more - maybe because it's an old building with poor air circulation and you can't open the windows more than a crack. Probably this wouldn't be an issue any time besides summer but the heat would make me think twice about booking there in the summertime again. Can't imagine how hot it would be if the outside temperature was 25 or 30! Overall I'd say an awesome place to stay 9 months of the year.

* Stain on bedspread...some mildew and paint peeling
* Accessing this room required taking an elevator to the 4th floor; then descending down a very narrow flight of stairs to the room.
* The room should have a fire escape map on the back of the dorr.
* Additionally lighting above/near the beds would be nice for reading

Very satisfactory B&B in Victoria Station area. Easy walking distance to the Tube and the train station. Got to see a wonderful play in the theater directly across from Victoria Station. Pleasant pub nearby where we had reasonably priced fish & chips. Breakfast room was small and crowded resulting in guests having to stand and wait for seating to become available. We would definitely stay here again. Good value for price in London.

The location was very good. However the room was very small, but all we needed was a place to sleep and take a bath. There was not good sound proofing and you could hear other people using the bathroom. I believe that the price was really high (80pounds for B&B no bathroom ensuite), but this is London! At least the communal bathroom was quite clean!

We stayed in the family room and this perfect for a family of 4. The rooms were clean, especially the bathrooms. Firmer beds would have made the stay even better. English breakfast was served and included in the price--this was wonderful.

Freundlicher Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We were here as part of our honeymoon and the room served us quite well. It's located only a few minutes walk from Victoria station where you can get the National Rail to parts of Great Britian and the underground through London. There are many pubs and restaurants in the area and it's about a 15 min walk from Buckingham Palace.
The room itself (a double en suite) was very nice and adequete for what we needed it for (somewhere to sleep and leave our stuff while we toured around London). They had a tea tray set up in the room, a nice little tv and a giant wardrobe. The bed was not all that comfortable, but it did just fine. The bathroom was VERY small, but again, it did just fine.
The breakfast that was included was great. There was a cold buffet and you could order from a hot menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only real negative issue was where our room was located - beside the entrance and lift. It got quite noisey one night while I was trying to sleep, but not much can be done about that.
Overall, it was a good stay here.

Myself & my daughter along with aprox. 8/10 guests had to wait up to 30 minutes each morning for a free table in the Breakfast Room. The breakfast room appeared to be way too small for a busy hotel. Waiting diners were left standing in the corridor without explanation or apology from staff. However, on complaining at check-out, I was compensated with a refund of the cost of breakfast and a full apology given.

SO GO TO ELIZABEHT!IT S A GOOD PLACE TO STAY!

In sostanza accettabile rapporto qualità-prezzo, ottima ubicazione.

Quiet hotel in green surroundings, close to Victoria station and still gives you the feeling of living in a small town. Our room was a bit crammed and gloomy, but in reasonably good condition and cleaner than the London average. Recommended.

The smallest room in all of Europe, typical 5 firedoors leading the way to our bedroom on the top floor. Window was the size of a small pillow, not good during a heatwave. They do have an elevator, however beware of large luggage, it may not fit in your room, no exaggeration. Yet, the room and shared bathroom were very clean, and had so many amenities. The breakfast is to die for, remember that you get the buffet and an order for all the sausages, eggs, toast etc. and it's included so don't be shy. Neighboorhood is safe and close to bus and train stations, great for taking trips to Oxford, Windsor etc.

Posizione molto comoda, vicino a Victoria station.

The heating in the whole hotel is very hot, a small fan is supplied but as you cannot open the windows the temperture is stiffling. Also the place is a rabbit warren we had to get the lift to the fourth floor then walk down to the third floor, through numberous interconnecting doors to get to our room.
However if is clean and comfortable and very well located, I just wish they would turn the central heating down.

The staff was quite friendly and welcoming. As with most European hotel rooms, the space is small, but I am fully aware of the space difference between the US and Europe. Although the diff is quite large, one must appreciate that space in Europe is small, but not a bad thing once you open your mind to the fact that there are diff regarding what we are used to here, especially in Texas. But the hotel is adjacent to many other hotels and the street is quite charming, with in fact a beautiful view from Eccelston Rd. The location to Victoria station is great, especially if you are taking the Gatwick Express! I would definitely stay again, and I am considering it, strongly, I might add.

This is a good hotel in a very convenient location. Considering how close it is to Victoria Station, the neighborhood is quiet. The rooms are clean. The staff is accomodating. There is a cooked-to-order breakfast. The only minor flaw was a tendency to run out of hot water in the morning. Otherwise, this a very nice place to stay.
