The neighborhood is very quiet and the hotel is located near Earl's Court station (very quick to reach from Heatrow) and it's easy to plan London tours. The rooms are typical B&B but overall good for a week of staying. It's near a couple of roads full of pubs and restaurants and also a 24h Tesco store. Price is very good for a well connected location and breakfasts were excellent.

The hotel is situated in the old and beautiful street, Philbeach Gardens, very close to the Earl's Court underground station. My room was very small (single, en suite), but there were two large mirrors, a table, a TV, a comfortable bed. Still the bathroom was so small that you could hardly move a hand without crushing something. But! It's not that important, for cleanliness was all right, and quietness as well. I must admit english breakfast served there is very tasty. Besides, the canteen is open for you until midnight so you can go and have a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or tea anytime for free. This hotel all in all looks small and cozy, staff friendly, and i don't regret staying there at all. My trip lasted from 13 to 18th of November, 2007. Concerning the price - for 5 nights i payed 300 pounds, i find it not that cheap, but comparing to Enterprise hotel, which is sutuated in a 10 min walk from Beaver hotel and where no breakfast is included, 5 nights would cost me almost 600 pounds. Btw, my brother stayed in Enterprise, i saw the rooms - they are no better than in Beaver! I found it a food choice among cheap hotels.

IT WAS FIRST TIME FORM AT BEAVER HOTEL. MY GENERAL EXPERIENCE WAS QUITE GOOD. PRICE AND QUALITY ARE WELL RELATED, BUT ROOMS ARE NOT TOO CLEAN.

This property was very reasonably priced and our family liked that it was convenient to the Earl's Court tube station. We also found a 24 hour grocery nearby that we used quite frequently. The downside of staying here was that we had the ground floor room right by the reception. This room's bathroom had a smell of urine and smoke that never went away no matter how much we left the fan on (this being accomplished by keeping the light on), or kept the windows and doors open to ventilate the room better. The occupants in the basement must have smoked non-stop because this smell permeated the room and aggravated our allergies all night. Also, because we were by reception, we were awakened at night when people came in late and also in the morning when suitcases would go bouncing down the stairs and taxi cab doors would slam. Lastly, I would avoid the sausages at breakfast at any cost! I made the mistake of trying one out on our first morning at the Beaver and payed for it with indigestion for half the day! All in all, weigh your expectations carefully with the cost you are willing to pay for a room in London. If you don't mind the same towel for 4 days, the odors associated with a smelly bathroom (mold, urine, and smoke), and the typical London cramped room, then this is the hotel for you.

The room we had is spacious but cold, toilet is small. There's another room my friend stayed and it has this huge toilet, their room is also cold during our stay. Breakfast was good but it gets crowded and staff gets too busy and kept forgetting to serve our tea. The reception was quite nice to us on the day we checked in... but she turn a bit hostile the next day. And we're not sure the cab cost us 30 pound from the hotel to the Victoria Coach station after we ask the hotel to book it for us. Our trip from Victoria to the hotel was just 10 pound. The driver say he have to pay the hotel for commission... so check how much you need to pay before asking the hotel to book for a cab.

Honestly, after a long search for an affordable London Hotel offering good quality Beaver Hotel is really the answer. Very friendly service. Well worth the price - at least if booked via Venere. Full English breakfast (but of course not a farmhouse one...). Will be back next year.
