Bed & Breakfast Homecoming 4th Floor Florence - Venere.com double room APARTMENT DESCRIPTION On the top floor of a recently restored "Palazzo" in via S.Spirito, one of the prestigious streets of Florence where still well-known noble families actually live. The apartment is composed of two double bedrooms with windows facing the street that overviews the gorgeous dome (cupola) and bell-tower of the church carrying the same name.

The rooms are elegantly decorated with original brick-floors and high ceilings. It has a living/dining-room with a kitchen corner in typical country style. From the living-room there is a spiral staircase that leads into a beautiful loft with 360° of panoramic terrace.
Breakfast is not given, there is a kitchen corner available.

Hello to everyone! Except for a dirty coffee-machine, a "hot-water-problem" and the fact that we had to find out how to share our water in general (do not use the toilette while someone is having a shower...)we had a rather nice week! In fact: We got what we had expected and wanted. I really liked the view over the roofs of Florence and the Arno!!! It was nice to know that the one who was "resposible" for our appartement was a very kind, friendly, polite and very "normal" woman. She was not disturbing or something - but if there was something we had to know or to find out, it was no problem to ask her! THANKS! Within the appartement ther is no luxury, but it has everything you need. So, there is no reason to complain. Just two more things: 1. If you have problems with your legs or you cannot move or walk, do not take the 4th floor... It's 92 (94?) stairs to go... And: 2. Don't trust the housenumbers in the street - you have to look for a while before you can find the right door. But it is possible... We made it! ;-) Have a nice time!

This apartment is worth it for the rooftop deck alone ! Fantastic view and great for chilling out on. Rooms are surprisingly noisy - bring earplugs ! The bathroom is the world's smallest and what's with the bidet and toilet in different rooms ? Kitchen is a bit dark and it's up a lot of stairs. The location is very good and Lucy is very helpful. This is a nice place - just a little old.

This Affita-Camera is NOT for everybody: 5 high stories up without elevator, hot during summer, even colder during winter, NO breakfast (make it yourself!) And unconscionably OVERPRICED. In fact: the three rooms were signed out at 115 000 LIT (Euro 59) each for which the lady charged Euro 80 ($80)! We only stayed because we had the entire "Fourth Floor" to ourselves (2 people) during three days. - NOT RECOMMENDED.
