we heared no noise from the railway altough it was near. The B&B itself was noisy, slamming doors etc.. we had the room with the badroom on it but it was more like a closet with a toilet and shower in it and a wasingtable in the bedroom.

The stay was fine except that the window in my room hardly shut out the noise of the proximite train station and street. Also, you could hear much of what was going on in the adjactant room. The staff however was very nice and the room & shared baths were very clean.

the room was clean and spacious. the owner was very kind and helped us to make reservations for the musea. Regrettable there was no breakfast but the owner made us a nice cup of coffee! despite the railstation in the neighbourhood, the room was very quiet.

Everything was ok apart from the private bathroom; in my opinion an Italian bathroom should be a little more confortable: the washbasin shoud be inside it and the bidet can't be missing.

The woman who runs Soggiorno was very gracious and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She maintained her cool even when I blew out the electricity on our side of the building. Even though this is a bit of a walk to the center city - I highly recommend it.

We stayed at this accommodation in February. The people running it are very nice and helpful. Our room has clean although plain furnishings. A common refrigerator is located in the hallway. During our stay there was very few rooms booked so it was quiet. This may be different during peak times as the walls are thin. About 10 min walk to station, 15 mins to main centre of Florence. We would stay there again.

The room was nice and confortable (we took the room with bathroom) Najat was very kind with us and offered us a free breakfast. We unfortunately had to suffer from the noise of some of the neighbours on the above floor and from the other rooms. Otherwise the place is relatively quiet (not directly close to a main street). Highly recommended and very cheap prices but 20-30 min. walk from center of Florence.

I think the Soggiorno Primavera is very expensive for the services they provide. The bathroom is too small, the room is not very clean, they hadn't changed the towels and the heating was off despite the lower temperature and rainy (wet) day. The owner is nice but that's not enough for me to return there. I sincerely dislike Soggiorno Primavera.

Close to the station eventhough its in the opposite direction of the city centre where all the action is. We took the double room with the attached bath so our room was in the inside thanks to which we did not experience any noise outside like some other rooms that face the main road. Najat and her husband are wonderful people. Spacious and very clean rooms. A good choice unless you insist on being near the city centre which anyway is not that far away.

This was in a very poor area, with no amenities. A bed and a lamp... that's it. Well, besides the 20 mosquitoes hanging out on the ceiling waiting to devour you! (BTW, the ceiling is too high to kill them, so you're basically just an all-you-can-eat buffet for them when you go to sleep.) The bathroom in the ensuite was pretty gross... the shared bath was much cleaner. It is near the main train station, so that is a plus. But I would never stay there again.

Ottimo servizio, eccellente pulizia, ben posizionato in prossimità della stazione. La signora che ci ha accolto, titolare della struttura, ci ha accolto con molta gentilezza e ha fornito inforazioni interessanti su Firenze. Very good overall service, room very clean. The owner was very nice and kind. Suggested.

We had the chance to get a bigger room than the one we had reserved so everything went better than expected on that. The owner is a very nice person. No complains about anything. It was an excellent choice.

This is a conveniently located to the train station small bad & breakfast hotel. The service and the welcoming from Najat are perfect! the clean nice rooms, the only bad thing is rather noisy area and all night you can hear the traffic. But I would recommend this hotel to those, who would like to find a non-expensive accommodation in Florence.

We had a great time at this hotel. The showers were tiny & there was often a line in the mornings, but we felt like we were in college again, so it was okay. Our room was very spacious & clean, with large windows & a little balcony. Tara says "Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper- the main road nearby was always loud." I, however, was out like a light after walking around all day. Very convenient location- just a couple blocks from everything we needed. Good times, good times!

THE ROOM WAS EXCELLENT. REALLY FASHION, CLEANED AND NEW. WE CHOOSE A ROOM WITH BATHROOM INSIDE, FOR JUST 50 EUR PER NIGHT. WE HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME IN SOGGIORNO. WE DIDN'T HAVE THE BREAKFAST INCLUDED BECAUSE DUE TO THE LOUEST PRICE THERE WERE NOT BREAKFAT (BUT REASONABLE)

It will be much better if there is no birds on the bed on the first night we stayed. The second room is better, but they don't have to towel, soap and no heat.

Reasonably good, the bed linen could have been changed a bit more often. We were there for 5 days and it was not changed. However, staff were friendly.

This is a cheap, conveniently located bed and breakfast, that does not serve breakfast. It is about 5 minutes walk from the central station, and 10 minutes from the duomo. Mrs Najaf was very accomodating to the fact that we had to check in late, and she was waiting for us at the time we had arranged. If all you want from your accomodation in Florence is a cheap place to sleep after you've spent all day exploring Florence then this is not a bad choice. The room was clean and large but it smelled a bit damp. And don't expect a view, as it is on the first floor facing other buildings. Something that bothered me was the fact that check out was not at 12 as expected, but at 10, a fact that was made known to us on the day of our departure, by being asked to leave (politely I have to say). Another thing that did not bother us, but is good to know is the fact that there were prostitutes hanging out on the road leading to the hotel late at night. But they did not bother us, they politely turned their backs when we were passing.

Soggiorno Primavera is not luxury accomodation by any standards but it is comfortable and affordable. The owner is friendly but there isn't much contact because you are given your own set of keys and can come and go as you please. I stayed with my family and we were very pleased with it. It is central and provides a good base for seeing Florence and the surrounding area. Its proximity to the train station is a major bonus.

This was a lovely little place, excellently situated for the main sites of Florence which are a 10-15 min walk away. Our twin room with bathroom was basic but spotlessly clean. For a European city, the cost was excellent value for money. Probably not for those looking for luxury but for the budget traveller it is perfect.

This was a very quiet, spacious place to stay. The only employee we dealt with was very helpful and warm. Our room was enormous, however we did not have even a sink in the bathroom. This was not a big deal however because we never had to wait for the bathroom down the hall which was exceptionally clean. Soggiorno Primavera was located about five blocks from the train station so it was very reasonable for us to walk everywhere from the hotel. We definitely would recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence.

Very centrally located. Spacious, clean double rooms with nice compact en-suite. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the building is very echoey from the movement on the other floors and doors slamming - not for light sleepers.

Soggiorno Primavera is a typical European hotel that emphasizes functionality. It is as good as advertised. My only complaints are: 1) the hotel does not accept credit cards, although to be fair this was indicated somewhere in the web site but did come across clearly; 2) the building is located near a major street and one could hear the sound of vehicles; 3) the living area is actually on the second floor, one has to climb a flight of stairs; and 4) I was bitten by mosquitoes in the second evening. However, I would still recommend this hotel to friends. Mr. and Mrs. Alberti are most kind and—-by European standards—-the hotel really is value for money.

There was no breakfast at all. The room was extremely loud at night which made it difficult to sleep. It was also cold and the beds only have two sheets (no comforter) and the blankets in the armoire were not warm. The bathrooms were kept very clean and the room was very spacious. This place really needs to start offering breakfast, that's part of the concept of a "Bed and Breakfast" accomodation.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By train:
From the Central Station S.M. Novella (300 meters away = 5 minutes walking). Standing in the station with your back to the train tracks, go out the right hand exit (the exit with steps going down to the street). Once on the street, turn right again going along Via Alamanni. Go straight on and when you reach the traffic light, cross the street. At this point you will find yourself in Via Guido Monaco. Go straight along this street walking on the sidewalk on the right side (side with even street numbers) for about 50 meters and then turn into the first road on the right: this is Via Peri. The first door on the right (no. 2) is the entrance to Soggiorno Primavera.

By car:
Follow the street signs indicating ‘Centro’/‘Stazione S.M. Novella’/‘Fortezza da Basso’ (exhibit hall). Drive along the wide avenue (called ‘I Viali’) until you get to Viale Belfiore. Just after the traffic light turn left into Via Guido Monaco (going toward the station). Just after this, turn again into the first road on the left (Via Cittadella), then turn right into Via delle Ghiacciaie and then right again into Via Peri. At Via Peri no. 2 you will find the entrance to Soggiorno Primavera.

By plane:
The closest airport is ‘Aeroporto A. Vespucci’ in Florence. The airport has a shuttle bus to the S.M. Novella station which leaves every half hour. Alternatively, there is also a 24 hour taxi service.
