small room and not our idea of breakfast!! making hot water and package coffee and a stale packaged pastry!! we moved the tray to the hallway the 1st night after the staff moved my suitcase on the floor and he did not get the massage we did not want the brakfast the 2nd morning and did it again!! find a place that offers a nice buffet like Hotel Capri Inn. THAT was my experience in France 8 years ago and most B&B's in Italy could learn from Capri Inn (this visit)and France, too. Dinner at The Golden View off the bridge of Ponte del Vechio was fabulous!! Highlight was dinner cooked by our daughter in her apt.We did not receive a copy of our final bill, no one was there when we had our taxi pick us up at 9am of check out day.

The accommodation was fine and staff friendly and very helpful but the curtains around the bed and bedspread were well overdue for a wash.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. It was with-in walking distance to everything and Matteo was very helpful. The place was very clean and there were alot of interesting books about venice that put the city into perspective. These books were in the lobby.

This little B&B was very nice, if a little noisy with the window open as it overlooked a main road. We had very few complaints about it. However, the breakfast was rather insubstantial and our main gripe was that when we arrived we were told by the owner that instead of booking us the 4 nights that we had booked, she had accidentally booked us only 3. This obviously rather threw us into a bit of a panic as we had just stepped off a long train journey and wanted to freshen up etc. and not be faced with this kind of hassle. However, the owner offered us another B&B in Florence or her house in Chianti for the one night. We opted for the B&B in Florence and actually had a very nice stay there, despite having the inconvienience of having to up sticks and move all our luggage back to Antica Posta again. The owner did provide us with taxis however to get from B&B to B&B which made it easier. All in all, it was a nice little hotel but this incident rather marred it.

Antica Posta is fairly conveniently located. There is a little walking distance to buses and about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The area it is in is a nice, clean business street. It was a surprise to find a BnB in this location and from the outside of the building, appears to be an apartment building. However, once inside, it very much exuded a BnB atmosphere complete with warm and cozy decor and fragrant, relaxing scents. We love our room. It was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful but certainly allowed you privacy. Another nice touch was the reading material provided. We'd love to go back.

The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. More like a big bedroom then a hotel room. The staff were very friendly. It wasn't to far to walk from the main attractions. Breakfast wasn't much but it was nice to have a kettle in the room and a fridge.

"Anteca Posta" is the excellent. But the system of "venere com" is to be improved, for it's cancellation of reservation. In my case, the system did not open to work before 72 hours rule for the cancellation.
