Room and bathroom in good conditions and nicely renovated. Welcoming was very poor, nobody on site, no help or information concerning the city. When asking for a city map, we were told "you can find anywhere" ...

Good adress, specially for families (one big room with 4 or 5 beds). Not far away from a nice place on the seaside, San Giovanni Porto. Very nice and helpfull guests. Two bad points anyway: a bit noisy, and quite far away from historic center (good city bus service).

Although the staff did not speak English, they were very welcoming and made a lot of effort to communicate with us. The room was lovely, and very spacious and clean. There was no breakfast room however, and the breakfast didnt arrive before we had to check out.

HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

By car
From the A18 highway, exit at San Gregorio and follow signs to Catania centro. Once in Piazza Europa, pass the roundabout and keep going straight ahead for around 150 metres on Viale Alcide de Gasperi. Turn left into Via Zoccolanti, after 100 metres you will reach Piazza della Guardia. The second street on your right is Via Messina, where the property is located.

By train
Catania railway station is around 700 metres from the property. Either take bus n. 401 and get off at Piazza S.M. della Guardia, or take bus n. 443 to Piazza Europa, both very close to the property.

By airplane
From the Catania Fontanarossa airport, around 6 km away, take bus n. 457 and get off at Piazza Stesicoro. Switch on bus n. 535 or 830 and get off at Piazza S.M. della Guardia, very close to the property.

TRANSPORT SERVICES

You can leave your car in the nearby Piazza S.M. della Guardia square, free of charge.
Parking on the B&B's street costs €0,50 per hour from 8.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. (except on Sundays, free of charge).
