The hotel is nice overall it is very close from the subway station which is nice when one comes late back to the hotel. People are very nice and helpful (e.g. they were carrying my luggages). 2 weak points: the breakfast room is a bit small specially for the high season or Sundays and the internet connection is really expensive: 3€ for min 1h, even if you stay connected only few minutes. I used it once and then found an internet cafe in the same street.

Arriving at the outside of the hotel I was a little bit worried as it did not look so good -having got the lift to the reception my concerns proved to be totally unfounded. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very good - air conditioning was essential and the system was very good. Breakfast was fine.Room was very well maintained during our stay. Location near an underground system - and shops and restaurants nearby all contributed to a very enjoyable stay.Would recommend this hotel, however do not expect a very great deal of socialisation with other guests. Hotel was very quiet.

The first thing that stunned me was that they asked us to pay before seeing the bedroom!! This is not fair at all!! The furniture of the bedroom was old and of poor quality. We booked for a big bed and they gave us a room with two beds. Do not go to this hotel.

Great hotel. Wonderful friendly and knowledgable staff. Location was actually quite central and provided many dining and shopping opportunities close by. 2 minutes walk to metro station and everything that Vienna has to offer.

We were disappointed with our stay. The rooms were substandard and the bathroom was small. The sheets did not smell fresh. It was in a great location, but we would not recommend this hotel.

Rooms were quite big. Good breakfest. The only bad thing that it was "Pension", not a 3 star hotel as we were expecting, but netherless the stay was OK.

Very nice hotel. The building has a lift/elevator. There is 24 hours front desk service. The staff spoke english and was very helpful. You can purchase tours around the city and tickets for attractions right at the hotel. but they prefer cash for those. the breakfast was excelent. Various types of cereal, meats, cheese, and dried fruits and fresh fruits. The room didnt not have iron, but it can be obtained from the receptionist. The location was ok. it was about 10- 15 minute walk to the Hofsburg. There is a bar/restaurant right downstairs of the hotel. the wasnt any noice that bother us. there is also a movie theater, and i believe it plays english language movies. I DEFINITELY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL. Internet service is also provided, for 10 minutes. :)

Nice hotel: clean, comfortable beds, adequate storage. Requested, upon arrival, a quiet room with AC and got both. Further distance from center than I remembered, but less than a block to metro which was very easy to use. Staff very helpful with advice on getting around. I would recommend this hotel.

The room was a good quality, the staff spoke English well, all amenitieis worked, and everything was just as the web side said it was. The room was small by western standards, but very clean. I did have a few complaints though, namely that there was an extensive amount of construction ocurring right outside my window! I had to keep the shades drawn to prevent workers from looking in my room from their scaffolding. Worse, the noise from their work was terrible, and they took down the scaffolding (loudly) at 6 in the morning! I assume this was a one-time thing and unlikely to occur in the future, but the room should have been left unoccupied during the construction. Also, there was a row of pamphlets for sex clubs and sexual 'services' located in a small rack near the front desk. I don't know if this is typical for Austira or Vienna (and I'm just surprised by it being from the US) but its existence should be noted for those who would be offended by such material.

We had a very pleasant stay at the Haydn. Staff were helpful, breakfast provided was delicious and rooms were comfortable. We did return for one night on 10 April and were given smaller and less well laid-out rooms, but as it was for only about 10 hours total, we didn't mind. Also, the Internet access promised for guests was not working during much of our stay.

We were extremely happy with our entire visit to Vienna, and the hotel and its personnel helped make it one of our Top Holidays ever. The breakfasts were excellent (we won't talk about how much weight we gained from them, and the rooms were extremely quiet. Probably one of the quietest hotels we have ever stayed in, be it in a city or the country. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a delightful experience and to be highly recommended for location and value for money.

It doesn't look like much from the outside (the shared entry way is dingy), but the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is quiet even though you are right off of Mariahilferstrasse. There's no air conditioning, but we had good ventilation with our windows in the room.

very good located, acceptable standard, spacious room, bathroom needs renovation, lack of parking lot directly next to the hotel, no chance even to park the car to pack-out luggages - e.g. up to 15 minutes
