Old Town Apartments offer cosy studio apartments or larger one and two bedroom apartments for up to four people.
Each apartment features a cooking and living area and comes equipped with cable TV (English, German, French, Spanish, Swedish channels), centralised heating, direct dial telephone, alarm clock, kitchenware, ironing facilities, bed linen and towels, hairdryer and courtesy set.
All are located on the first, second and third floors of buildings without elevators (there are no elevators in the Old Town).

We had a really lovely, clean & spacious apartment, just round the corner from the town square. Obviously apartments differ, but overall it was excellent value & brilliant situation; we would return. Entrance to the office is up the stairs of the building in the square (we loitered for a while, not over sure where the office was)

This is an excellent and spacious one bed appartment for two, right in the heart of the old city, modernised and very well equiped - dont be put off by 'old' stairs and hall-way - thoroughly recommended

It was a really comfortable and homy appartment. It was located right in the center of the old town, right in the middle of all turistic places. And it was really quiet at night. Very advisable

L'appartamento che ci è stato dato a noi è quello situato in Ulica Piekarska, 4 - interno n. 14. E' veramente bello! Super accessoriato, ristrutturato e moderno! Siamo stati veramente bene e proprio contenti! Lo consiglio a tutti assolutamente!! L'unico piccolo neo è rappresentato da tutta una serie di lavori di ristrutturazione nelle scale che non ci erano stati comunicati. Perciò tutto il palazzo era pieno di polvere, compreso l'ingresso del nostro appartamento. Ma ad ogni modo non possiamo che consigliarlo!

The location of the apartments cannot be beaten. They are very central and staying in the old town is so atmospheric. The decor is very comfortable. There are large amounts of eating options close by. The apartment we stayed in was near the old city walls though, and one unfortunate thing was that a number of local people use that as a place to congregate and drink. So we had them singing outside our house until 4am on the Friday night. We stayed for three nights and the Friday night was badly affected, the Saturday night partially affected and the Sunday night was quiet. The company offers good service and I recommend using the Merc taxi pick up service they offer. Prices for the room were quoted as USD80 on this site, although the room rate was levied in Euros and stated by the company that it always should have been in Euros (ie: EUR80, so some 17% more than USD80 based on exchange rates at the time)
HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL
By car
From the South or West (Katowice, Wrocław or Kraków):
Take the Al. Krakowska (which begins in the suburb of Janki) and then Grojecka Street towards Aleje Jerozalimskie (a very long avenue) and head eastwards. Driving along Aleje Jerozolimskie you will pass the Palace of Culture on your left and reach a roundabout at R. Dmowskiego (there is tall Novotel hotel on your right and the large Galeria Centrum department store on your left). Turn left at the roundabout and head along Galeria Centrum and Empik (on your right) until you reach McDonalds. Turn right at McDonald's into Swietokrzyska and drive through three successive sets of traffic lights, then turn left at the Krakowskie Przedmieście/Nowy Swiat intersection onto the famous avenue Krakowskie Przedmieście. Proceed ahead until you reach the Bristol Hotel and Zamkowy Square (you will note a huge red castle). You need to find a parking space somewhere in Podwale Street. Remember to buy a parking ticket.
From the West (Łódź or Poznań):
Head straight along the following streets: Wolska, Kasprzaka and Aleja Solidarności. Pass through Plac Bankowy and shortly afterwards turn right into Bielanska Street to get to the Theatre Square, where you must turn left into Senatorska Street and straight ahead onto Podwale Street.
By train
From the railway station, cross the main road Al. Jerozolimskie via an underpass and go to the bus stand outside the Marriott Hotel where you can take bus n.175. Purchase a ticket from the driver (2.40zl) or inside the railway station (advisable if you do not speak Polish). Get off at ul. Miodowa.
By airplane
Old Town Apartments can arrange a pick-up service from Chopin Airport. Please contact their office for further details.
Alternatively, take bus n. 175 all the way to the old town. Get off at Miodowa. You can purchase a ticket from the driver (2.40zl) or inside the airport (advisable if you do not speak Polish). It is necessary to purchase an extra ticket if you are travelling with large suitcases or bags.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. You cannot cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a non refundable or prepaid rate.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the apartments are available from anytime after 1 p.m. Guests will need to make their way to the Old Town Apartments main office located in the Old Town Square Market, within walking distance of all apartments. The office is open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. If you plan to arrive after 6 p.m. it is necessary to advise your exact arrival time in order arrange a meeting with a representative. In case of emergency, please call +48 503 312 686. FULL PAYMENT MUST BE SETTLED UPON ARRIVAL.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the apartments before 11 a.m.
