Apartment L'Opera Venice - Venere.com lounge The L'Opera Apartment enjoys an enchanting position in Venice, adjacent to the theatre La Fenice, walking distance from the St. Mark's Square, the Rialto Bridge and the Accademia Galleries.

The apartment, of about 85 square meters, is situated on the third floor of a sixteenth century building, protected by the art department.

This apartment is in the centre of venice, walking distance to anywhere. it is a long haul up the staircase (esp. with luggage) to the 4th floor - there is no lift. but once up there we could look out our window over the terracotta tiled rooves of the neighbouring buildings and down onto the canal below to spy on the gondolas parading underneath, some complete with accordian play and opera singer, which made the apartment very atmospheric. impossible to find the supermarket in venice (arrive with some basics in your luggage?), we did however find the fruit, vegetable and fish markets near the Rialto - not too long a walk away. restaurants in this area are outrageously expensive (which is why we booked an apartment). lounge room could do with a bit more light and the cleaner could be a bit more thorough, especially on top of shelves and under beds. We hope to return one day.

From Piazzale Roma, where you can leave the car, take the "vaporetto" public boat line 1 or line 82 and get off at the "Vallaresso" boat stop.

By train
From the train station Santa Lucia, take the "vaporetto" public boat line 1 or line 82 and get off at the "Vallaresso" boat stop.

By airplane
From the airport take the bus to Piazzale Roma. Then take the "vaporetto" public boat line 1 or line 82 and get off at the "Vallaresso" boat stop.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

Check-in: The check-in time could be fixed at any time after 2.30 pm. It is necessary to call the representative at least 3 days before arrival to communicate your arrival time and fix an appointment for the check-in and key collection.
Check-out: It is necessary to leave the apartment not later than 10.30 am.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Linen and towels when arriving, initial an final cleaning, use of water, gas and electricity are included in the price.
Breakfast is not included.
Security deposit costs €450,00. The security deposit can be paid by credit card or by Euro-cheques. After your departure the deposit might be kept until the apartment has been checked, to ascertain that there are no damages or losses.
Later arrivals after 7.30 p.m. are subject to an extra charge of €50,00.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Payment is due upon arrival.In case of cancellation you will be charged as follows:from 30 to 16 days prior to arrival: 20% of the total amount; from 15 to 7 days prior to arrival: 60% of the total amount; from 6 to 1 day prior to arrival: 80% of the total amount; no show: 100% of the stay.You are requested to call at least 3 DAYS BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL, to fix an appointment for key collection. In case you fail to do it YOU WILL BE CHARGED €100.00 and you have to wait for the first host
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
