Apartment Ca' d'Oro Venice - Venere.com apartment - double room The apartment has a private entrance on the ground floor, leading to the 1st floor where the living room with sofa, colour TV and stereo, a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and oven and a bathroom with bathtub are to be found.

On the 2nd floor there are two double rooms and another bathroom with shower and washing machine.

The apartment is also equipped with heating, sheets, blankets and towels and sleeps 4 people.

Comfortable rooms. Only problem was that they were overheated because of the extremely hot weather (no AC....) Excelent location, just 100 yards from vaporeto stop and 150 yards of a supermarket on nice Ca D'Oro main street (Calle Nova in Italian) I would definitively return.

The apartment was appropriately decorated. The washing machine worked! A grocery store was just a very short walk away. The location of the apartment could not have been better. Restaurants galore just around the corner. It really augmented a wonderful trip we had in Venice.

This is a beautiful, spacious apartment a 1 minute walk from the grand canal (note that it does not appear anywhere near where it shows on the Venere map). This is someones home, so it is well furnished and stocked. There are restaraunts, supermarkets, and even the fish and vegetable market (just across the grand canal) very close. The rooms are very large, and it is very quiet. It was much nicer than we expected from the pictures. Our only negative experience is that we were there on a very hot day, and all of the room radiators decided to turn on to heat. We couldn't figure out why, and the contact person we were given couldn't speak much English. Much to our dismay, nothing was done about this problem (I thought someone should come over and try and sort it out), and eventually the radiators turned them selves off. Not the experience you want when it is 90 degrees outside.

Mucho mejor de lo que reflejaban las fotos. Suelo y techo de madera, muy bonito,espacioso comodo y acogedor.Estancia muy agradable. Excelente comunicacion con zona de tiendas y estacion de vaporetto. Habria sido mas facil de localizar por nombre de calle(calle del forno).Importante:apartamento muy cálido teniendo en cuenta las bajas temperaturas en dias de carnaval.El único problema es la cocina, que es vieja y la caldera desprende gran olor a gas, lo que nos ha obligado a mantener la ventana abierta para mantener la estancia ventilada. A pesar de ese problema ha merecido muchisimo la pena y si vuelvo intentare coger el mismo apartamento.

By car
From the highway, follow the indications to Venezia centro and then to Piazzale Roma, where there are parking facilities. Take vaporetto number 1 or 82 to the Ca' d'Oro stop, very close to the apartment.

By train
From Santa Lucia railway station, take vaporetto number 1 or 82 to the Ca' d'Oro stop.

By airplane
From Venice airport, take the bus to Piazzale Roma and follow the indications above.

HOTEL POLICIES

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the apartment is available between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. From 8.00 p.m. to midnight an extra charge of €50,00 will apply. From midnight to 1 a.m. an extra charge of €70,00 will apply. After 1 p.m. check-in is not guaranteed; when it is possible an extra charge of €100,00 will apply. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the apartment not later than 10 a.m.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case you are forced to cancel the resrvation. we charge by your credit card: between 30/25 days before arrival: 30% of total rate. between 15/5 days before arrival: 50% of total rate. 5 days before arrival or no schow:100% of total rate.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 30 days before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
