the apartment is basic but spacious and clean. it is located out of town so you woulfd need a car to stay here however it has some of the most fantastic beaches and scenery i have ever set my eyes on. myself and my girlfriend stayed here for a week in early june and for 3 out of the 7 days we were alone on the beach-thats right about 1mile and a half of beach and we were the only people on it, even busy periods such as weekends when other tourists and locals arrive there is only ever a max of 50 people on the beach. the area is also well located for acessing other towns such as palermo and agrigento both just over 1.15 mins away. the town of sciacca is busy enough but we always parked our car on the outskirts and strolled around it has some of the most delightful sea food restaurants i have ever eaten in with fresh fish delivered every day from the auction on the docks which takes palce by fishermen coming back with their daily catch. all in all if you are looking for a quiet area for sun sea and relaxation this is your place. the staff at the travel agency were also very helpful and nice, the only downsides i had and they were minor ones was that we were only provided with one set of towels for the week as we didnt bring our own it would have been nice to have access to more so maybe pack a couple of towels before you come, also the satelitte tv which we paid 10euro extra for only had 2 english channels - both news channels. but again these were minor faults. i would definaetly recommened this property to young couples, families and older couples as its perfect for all.

The apartment is described as being in Sciacca, but it is a distance away from any town. The office is in the town and we were given directions to get to the apartment, a 15 minute drive to the middle of nowhere. The rooms were clean and the beach is nice.

For one nights accommodation it was not worth the trouble of going into Sciacca to pay for the accommodation and receive instructions on how to get to the apartment. It was very difficult to find a place to park in Sciacca. Furthermore, the pricing of the apartment turned out to be a bit messy. I was told upon arrival that we had to pay €10 for each person for linen and towels. Although, I was made aware of the fact that this information was included in the overview, it did not state the cost of the hire. I wish this was included in the booking section as an option. This would allow you to find out how much the linen hire is in total before arriving at the destination. The additional linen hire bumped the price for one nights accommodation upto €165 for 2 adults and 3 children in an apartment outside the town center! (Quoted price for the apartment: €85 + cleaning € 30 + linen hire €50). I expressed my surprise and was told that the cleaning fee was a mistake and should not be paid by me?! The linen charges were halved, ie. I paid only €5 per person. Well, I can't complain about that,- but I wish I wouldn't have had to go through the hassle. Furthermore, when all this was sorted out I had to get cash, as credit cards were not accepted. Upon arrival (with our 5 sheet sets), I discovered that there were only 4 beds! I was told by the person who handed us the keys when we finally arrived at the apartment that we had to use the sofa as the fifth bed (the sofa was a small two seater,- my 7 year old son's legs were hanging over the edge!) There are no shops or restaurants in the near vicinity and you, therefore, need a car. In addition, you would think that a place like this would be quiet, but it wasn't, as the permanent(?) residents played very loud music in the morning. All in all, it was not a particularly pleasant experience.

Abbiamo aspettato mezz'ora all'arrivo che arrivasse qualcuno ad indicarci l' appartamento. Dopo qualche telefonata abbiamo risolto. Per il resto tutto bene a parte il decentramento rispetto alla città vicina.

This is a wonderful location to get away from it all, with a beach 50 Metres away that was almost deserted throughout our stay. The main town Sciacca is about 6Km,therefore you do need a car. There are adjacent beaches with a bit more life with a few bars and restaurants.

Nous avons eu froid : une seule couverture pour quatre lits et pas de chauffage d'appoint. Nous n'avions pas la vue annoncée par les photos mais uniquement sur des toits. Il faut rajouter 12 euros par personne au prix annoncé sur le web pour les serviettes et les draps.

Fantastic location, right on the beach and just outside Sciacca. You need to collect the key from the address given when booking then will be taken to the apartment outside town. Really helpful and friendly owners. Great apartment but no travel cot.

Oveall, it's not so bad, but we are not satisfied with no heater in each room. It was really cold in the room beyond endurance.

the folks here have an apt in their home by the beach, outside of town. once i found them, after i had gone 20 min past sciacca, they asked me if i preferred another apt. in town. i took the other in town apt. it was great. nice little kitchen, large bedroom. right in the middle of town. you can walk to the harbor and nice restaurants. there is parking, but it's a little tricky. very sweet and friendly young couple.
