The facility was wonderful. We felt the room was fine and the atmosphere definitely represented the area. Beware. The price we were asked to pay differed from what was quoted in writing. we ended up paying an extra 180Euros. The presentation in the fee schedule is misleading. I quess I relied on the booking company for accurate information which did not happen.

Podere Casanova is a beautiful place but not near the city, you need a car because it's really in the coutryside of San Gimignano. We stayed in the Viridis apartment which is big and cozy and the owner Lucia is really nice and welcoming. Thank you.

This converted farmhouse is absolutely idyllic. We stayed in Ruber which is deceptively spacious - and huge for two people. The pool was not open when we arrived (30 April) but by the end of our week it was. Everything about this property was beautifully finished and thoughtfully chosen - down to the shared hammocks and the gingham check motifs. It is about 2km down a white dirt track road so if possible, hire a 4x4 (although it's not absolutely necessary). Nearby San Gimignano is an absolute gem too. A fantastic stay. Thank you, Lucia.

Casa rural preciosa en medio de la Toscana, un lugar al que me gustaría volver en cualquier época del año. Los dueños son muy agradables y atentos sin ser pesados. Uno de los pocos hoteles Italianos en los que la relación calidad-precio es bastante buena

• Rome via motorway A1 > exit Val di Chiana > S.S. 71 > near Siena follow signs for Tangenziale and Firenze > exit Poggibonsi > follow signs for San Gimignano.
It arrives to you to Saint Gimignano to the rotatoria to turn on the left for Volterra after 300 meters turning newly on the left Montauto direction, following indications for Podere Casanuova.

• Bologna/Florence via motorway A1 > exit Firenze Certosa and take the four lane road (green signs) for Siena > exit Poggibonsi > follow signs for San Gimignano.
> It arrives to you to Saint Gimignano to the rotatoria to turn on the left for Volterra > after 300 meters turning newly on the left Montauto direction, following indications for Podere Casanuova.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. The heating to pay in native place to € 2,60 to the M3.
Apartments are available for a minimum of one week, although special weekends can be arranged by telephoning the Management to discuss requirements.
Prices include linen, gas and electricity but not central heating, which is charged by consumption. Extra beds can be added if required.
A down payment of 200 Euros, as a security deposit against damage, is required on arrival and is refundable on departure.
