Very helpful owner - we had inadvertently arranged to return the rental car to the otehrside of the city, promptly made arrangements to change this, saving probably 4 hours hassle. Only reservation would be using a pullout sofa bed for the living room in promoting it as a 4 px apartment, though it was actually reasonably comfortable. WiFi is american standard, so didn't work with 801.11 system. There is a very cheap internet cafe 3 doors away, so no problem!

This is a great location- walkable to all major attractions (15-20 min.) Our apt was roomy and the kids loved the hammock. Not alot to eat in the immediate area but lots within a 10 min walk. A/C not very effective into the 2nd room, but we were there during 90 degree heat wave in late June. A bit pricy, but not too bad compared to similar alternatives in Rome. Lots of stairs- not good for mature folks if stairs are a problem.

My husband and I were travelling with our two teenagers, ages 18 and 15, and we all found the apartment outstanding! Location, location, location... The apartment is spacious and spotless with modern bathroom - we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend! (The photos do not do it justice...)

Just the same feeling that more or less everybody else regarding this flat. A few 100 meters from Colosseum & Forum Romanum, right into the centre of Rome, couldn't be better. A lot of restaurants and cafés nearby, an OK supermarket just a block away, walking distance to a lot of sights. Nice and professional staff that provided us with a lot of info regarding things to do and see etc. The flat is very charming and all equipment etc needed is in place. We used it for four nights and even if we expected a lot, it was even better...... There are cheaper flats in Rome, but if you can afford a little extra money, use this flat, it's so great.

Very good location for all sites. Very friendly and helpful staff. Jacuzzi was very welcoming after a day or two walking around the sites. A wonderful break; would happily recommend Sunset Inferno 5. Tip . . . visit the Colloseum and Vatican in the afternoon to avoid queuing, everyone wants to go to them in the morning - they are just as good in the afternoon!

Hotel manager Andrea was very helpful regarding services in the area. Room was very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Great big-screen TV. Bed would be more comfortable without the plastic sheet over the mattress.

This is better than a Hotel! I stayed at the Hildon in Florence and I drove my wife crazy with wanting to go back to Rome and hang out at this apartment. Stayed 3 nights with my wife and two toddlers. Apartment/Room was impecable, pefect, everything is modern and new, remodeled, etc. I am very picky person, specially with bathrooms, everything was clean and spotless, and best of all, it has an actual shower, which is very difficult to find in Europe. Two TVs, one in living room (with a playstation) and a second in the bethroom, AC works well, windows and shutters to the street block any noise coming from the street, although there's hardly any traffic since the building is not sitting in a main street. The building does have Wi-Fi, but I had problems setting it up until i figure out it uses a uncommon standard, "A" instead of B, G or N protocols, which is the most popular in the US. Andrea, the gentleman who manages the property was on top of everything - he helped us carry our luggage 3 floors up, with heavy bags and strollers, same on the departure date, I offered him 20 dollars tip for all his attentions and he refused taking even half of it. When you arrive Andrea will give you a map with some recommendations, good restaurants, hae breakfast etc. There's an Italian version of a Supermarket just around the block. 10 minute walk in any direction and you are by the Colisseum, Victor Manuel's monument and other main sights. Definetly I will go back!

In two months of travel in Europe, this was our children's favorite place to stay. There was a hammock in the master bedroom (don't worry, there was also a regular bed). The hammock was a highlight! We had a full apartment which was great for cooking in and just having more room. It was a little pricey, but so is the rest of Rome. We would definitely stay here again. If he gets his wireless internet working (it may be by now), that would even be better! The other apartments that we peeked into also looked great for couples, etc.

Just a 10 minute walk to all of the Roman Ruins, we felt as if we were in the heart of Rome! Just a 5 minute walk from several bus stops that lead to all over the city. Plus you can basically walk to any major attraction in No more than 30-45 minutes! Staff was friendly although not always at the reception desk due to the small nature of hotel. Our apt was very clean and decorated very cute. We even had a hammock in one room. You can view the Colosseum from the window. Did have to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs but owner offered to help and said they are planning on getting a lift sometime soon. We loved having a kitchen to wash fruit and keep drinks cold in the fridge. Good restaurants, grocery store, and gelatteria near by!

Sunset interno 5 far exceeded our expectations. It's clean w/ a comfortable bed and all the amenities a small apartment should provide and the location can't be beat. If you're looking to get a real sense of living in a typical Roman neighborhood, this is the place for you. It's an easy walk to the local grocery store, small restaurants, shops, and a delicious gelateria! Best of all is the small, lovely piazza w/ a fountain and a few restaurants close by. Sitting there on a beautifully warm October evening, watching the world go by - perfetto! Andrea and his mother Anna run a superb establishment. My wife and I look forward to a return trip soon. (Like any neighborhood in Rome, it's very noisy at night but just close the windows and shutters, turn on the AC, and sogni dolci!)

it's a great appartement on a great location. Everything is fine and clean. You can do Rome on foot. We stayed here for five nights with 2 adults and two children, one of 8 and one of 11 years old. It was a big success : the children (and of course we to) love to go back to Rome and we want to stay at sunset again.

We had a really wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. Andrew and his mother were excellent hosts and really made us feel comfortable. His tips on where to eat were very useful. For guests who like to use the kitchen, it would be useful to have a little map showing were some local supermarket stores are located. For Americans, who are more comfortable with a supermarket environment, we found the Elite store on Via Cavour very useful. The walking route to the Colosseo seems like it should be a straight shot from the apartment, but it is actually a bit confusing the first time. A little tip to turn left at the end of Via dei Serpenti would have saved us a wrong turn and about 15 minutes. Lastly, a curtain allowing some privacy between the two rooms would be useful at times.

A big apartment (nice big bed)& decent bathroom size in the heart of Roma. Easy to get to from website's direction, and close distance (by foot within 5-20 min walk or bus 64) to most major sights in the city. Free luggage storage is a plus when you have a late flight. Staff very, very friendly & helpful. Price is affordable, a bargain when considering you have a BIG 2 rooms suite with a kitchen to yourself on the highest floor, very private & quiet, will stay here again when in Rome. The ice-cream place down the street is the best (in all of rome). With E1.50 you get a 2 scoop cone, what a deal!!

Owner was very helpful and welcoming when we arrived late at night. Apartment is tastefully decorated, modern furnishing but has kept the traditional Italian style. Plenty of space for two adults and two children. This appartment has everything we needed and local shop in the same street if we wanted to buy groceries or drinks. Location is fantastic with restaurants and ice creams aplenty. Some traffic noise on one morning but closing the windows solved this. We will recommend this appartment to our friends and family and would love to come back here to stay again. Adults and children loved this holiday.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment that is attached to a small boutique hotel. Note that it is on the third floor, up stairs. The apartment had a good sized bedroom on the street side, with I think a king bed. The living room was converted to a bedroom for our children, there was a fold out futon with 2 single matresses. One of the matresses however was extremely soft and not well supported. There is a small 2nd Tv in that room with a lame PS1. This room is directly open to the small but beautiful kitchen. It is a basic kitchen, I can't remember if there was a oven, I think only a microvwave. The bathroom is very modern. There are openings between all the the rooms, including the bathroom to the kitchen to the kids room to the big bedroom. The only interior door is on the bathroom. The windows do an excellent job of blocking out the street noise. The best part for us was the neighborhood. It is not touristy, and we loved shopping at the local little stores for fruits and breads and pesto. THere is a good sized supermarket one street behind. From here you can walk most places, or take the buses up on Via Nazionale. The owners are helpful and gracious. We will stay there again.

It was our first trip to Rome and we loved it, we stayed for three nights and spent our time visiting the sights on foot. We were delighted with the apartment. It is an ideal base from which to explore, centrally situated, spacious, very clean, has all the necessary essentials for your stay and we would certainly not hesitate to stay there again. The local area felt very safe and is great for spending quiet nights out, with plenty of restaurants etc. The staff were brilliant, extremely helpful and courteous, giving us some great advice about Rome on arrival to ensure we made the most of our holiday.

A terrific base for seeing the sights and good value. One criticism is that the air conditioner does not push air through to the main bedroom. This could be fixed if there was some sort of duct at high level in the dividing wall for the air to recirculate. Would go back again next time we visit Roma.

Lovely Apartment - super location. It is of a very good quality - spacious, very clean and with all the facilities that a family would want - fridge, freezer, microwave, 4 ring hob, playstation and satellite TV (limited english channels). The beds were comfortable and we were very relaxed at all times during our stay which all starts with a very warm welcome. This is a city centre so you should expect some traffic noise but this really isn't very noticeable. The local facilities that are not to be missed are the tratoria (15 metres away), patisserie (40 metres away), Gelateria (Ice cream - 50 metres away and open until 23.00 - Heaven!!) on Via dei Serpentei. The location is excellent and it really is only 500 metres from the Colloseum which is inspirational when viewed at any time of day from the flat. Rome itself is an incredible city with many attractions for all ages (our kids are 10 & 12) and is very compact with excellent bus and metro services. Because it is fairly compact and there are so many outstanding sights walking is a real pleasure and is the only way to feel part of the city sometimes. All aspects of our stay were excellent and the children really did have a memorable holiday - and so could you. If you would like to know more please email me.

Great location. Easy walk to Colosseum and the Forum. Single apartment attached to a small hotel. No signage made it a little difficult to find. Friendly family run establishment. Clean but furnished in a slightly 'bitsy' manner. Kids had to share a double bed despite being asked whether we wanted two doubles or a double and two singles. Apartment was not serviced. Top floor and no lift will help keep you fit. Full of character. Excellent value for Rome. Would recommend.

We stayed as a family group (2 adults, 2 children 8 and 10). Very clean apartment, small kitchenette overlooks second room, with open doorway (no door) leading to main bedroom. PS1 on small TV in second room. Small but clean and well fitted shower room (good shower). Kitchenette reasonably well equiped: you could cook some pasta & sauce, though we only had breakfast there. For Rome, low street noise, one way street below, plus shutters and double glazing also help. Nice location: major bus routes either end of street, not too far from Metro. Good bakers just down the street (fresh bread each morning). Good local food shops along street. Good variety of restaurants close by. (the 4 we ate in were all fine) Owner helpful (arranged trasfer to airport on last day, stored bags once we'd checked out etc) 3 stories up, no lift. Had a great time, we would use it again!

Excellent appartment, lively neighborhood (bars, restaurants, little shops), good location to major sightseeing places as well as to subway and Termini Station; note: double bed / double sofa, no door between the rooms (though appropiate for a family stay); note: always check the invoice; next time I would go again!!!

What a wonderful place! The value is outstanding! The photographs do not do the apartment justice. It is furnished in modern, comfortable style, with much more room than any hotel room or suite. The location is great, literally down the street from the Colloseum, which can be seen by leaning out the bedroom windows. The excellent grocery store is located two short blocks away, and there is a lovely cafe one block away. A Cabstand is about 4 blocks away, and the central location makes most cab rides 7-8 euros. Most european cities are noisy during the day and night, and Rome is no exception. This apartment has the _best_ windows I've ever seen in Europe: they seal out the noise very well, making the room very quiet at night. One suggestion for improvement is to put in a few carpets or wall coverings to reduce the interior noise. We were able to hear every noise our children made at night, and the noise we made after they went to bed kept them awake. The owners of the unit were very gracious at check-in, providing just the right amount of useful information to tired travellers. They were very helpful on checkout, calling the cab company and helping with luggage. The kitchen is nicely equipped, with a gas stove, microwave, and full size refridgerator. All the utensils to prepare meals are there, and it's a pleasure to be able to make a real cup of expresso in the morning with the expresso maker they have. The coffee and sugar are even provided! Dishwashing detergent and sponges are provided as well, so you can prepare meals and clean up right away. The bathroom is nicely sized, with shower, bidet, toilet and sink. There is excellent lighting in the bathroom. The one problem we noted was that the water wasn't very hot in the mornings. Our children said the water was hot enough in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Rome again. Our stay in Rome was magnificent, largely because of the comfort and conven
