Apartment 1999 Corinto 2 Rome - Venere.com apartment - exterior The residence is completely new, warm Italian hospitality who will make you feel welcome and at home. All rooms are large quiet and sunny and it have inside a bathroom, kitchen corner equipped also with espresso coffee machine and microwave oven for each room. Color TV. The flats are of various sizes and accommodate parties of 1-4.
The breakfast is not included. The close metro-stop “Marconi” is at your doorstep. Service of baby-sitter available.

The apartment is actually one of 5 separate rooms in an apartment, and consequently no bigger than a small hotel room. It was quite dark, and the en-suite bathroom a little cramped. However, the room was very clean and quiet, and the building just 5 minutes' walk from the nearest metro station (5 minutes' ride to the Colosseum). The published rate excludes fixed surcharges for cleaning (40 euros), for arriving at weekends (10 euros) and also for arriving outside office hours (another 10 euros).

This place was an excellent way to see how the Italians really live. It was in a nice, friendly, quiet, safe neighbourhood out of the city. There were plenty of shops nearby and the flat itself had everything you could need for a wonderful stay. The metro was walking distance and you were in the centre of Rome in 20 minutes. The downside of our trip was the initial lack of directions to get to the flat and the hassle we had trying to contact the person who was supposed to meet us and give us a key, the extra 5 euros we had to pay up front "to turn the electricity on", the subsequent power blackout we had because the washing machine apparently didn't work if anything else was on (including the fridge!) and the owner who got us out of bed and removed our sheets "to wash them" 2 hours before our pre-arranged checkout time.
