Apartment Centro Storico - Lucca

After we came back and we looked at the photos in venere. we realised that we were sent to a totally different apartment; one in via del toro instead of via del moro (though when we arrived to the hotel were we got the keys the receptionist said it was a typo mistake). The rooms were dark and damp. There was a TV, but it wasn't working. The "bathroom" was maybe the tiniest I've ever seen. In summary, we were cheated. Avoid at all cost.

this is one of the worst properties that i have ever stayed at , the shower/toilet room was roughly 3ft by 2ft , infact you could sit on the toilet seat and have a shower at the same time, this would lead to the top step being soaked as the tiles on the doorstep were broken and loose and the non slip mat was more like an ice rink. we were now faced with the prospect of falling down the rather steep set of stairs which were right at the toilet door, the tv in the room would not tune to anything , so it was fuzz for 5 days, the worst was the bed.............. a double frame with two single mattresses , now this meant that there was no support in the centre of the bed,the only way we could get a decent nights sleep was to take the wardrobe doors off and slide these on to the bed slats , but once we lifted the mattresses..... underneath was obviously the owners personal effect under there..... shoes,clothes,underwear amongst others i like to think i am reasonable with giving accomodation a chance but i work as a travel consolidator and i would not let a rat stay in this property , and to think i paid 450 euros for the privelage , something that was brought to the attention of the reception which was quite a bit away from the apartment (5 min walk) ... but no one spoke english so therefore we did not get anywhere with them. a huge dissapointment to what should have been a fantastic holiday.

Eine wirklich schöne, kleine, toskanisch eingerichtete Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen, die mitten in der Altstadt für einige Tage Aufenthalt an nichts fehlen lässt.

Location, Location, Location. All this this Hotel(?) has going for it. People were friendly, though.

great holiday in lovely Lucca Apartment suitable-comfortable & large bed, well equiped kitchen area location in Lucca very good Suitable apartment for sightseeing and out most of the day. Only problem might be it is on 4th floor. a lot of steps, no lift.

There was no heat in the room and no blanket for the additionnal bed. They have done a price reduction of 30$ out of the 180$. The second day they have installed an electric heather.
